Ambulatory Care Nurse

Pride Health is currently seeking candidates for RN-Outpatient clinic positions that will provide support for our client's healthcare systems in WINSTON-SALEM, North Carolina. Job Description:

Job Title: RN-Outpatient clinic

Location: WINSTON-SALEM, North Carolina

Schedule: 40 hours per week

Shift: Day, 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00)

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Pay Range: $2050.00- $2166.00 Weekly DOE

Overview

Seeking an experienced RN with at least 1 year of outpatient clinic and ambulatory surgical experience. Must be skilled in infection control, specimen handling, and Universal Protocol procedures. Surgical triage and hepatobiliary patient care experience preferred. Requires active BLS certification and Epic charting proficiency. No call, weekends, or float required. Clinic operates Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Must be able to manage 12 patient visits per day across 8 rooms. Interview required prior to offer.

Required Skills:

• Provide direct nursing care in an outpatient surgical clinic setting.
• Assist with patient triage, education, and coordination of care.
• Support outpatient surgical procedures, ensuring adherence to Universal Protocol and infection control standards.
• Handle specimen collection, labeling, and documentation per clinic policy.
• Monitor patient condition and report any changes to the care team.
• Document all patient interactions and care provided accurately using Epic EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams for patient care planning and follow-up.
• Educate patients and families on procedures, discharge instructions, and ongoing care needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
• Adhere to all safety, regulatory, and clinic policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Outpatient clinic experience required.
• Ambulatory OR setting.
• Certification and License: BLS and Illinois PTA license.
