Position Description

Carolina Surgery Center We are looking for an experienced RN with solid knowledge of Pre-operative and PACU/ Nursing.

  • This is a fast-paced multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center environment that is driven to reach the highest quality and satisfaction outcomes.
  • The patient population is from infant to geriatric.

Required Skills:

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Current South Carolina Nursing License
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a hospital or fast-paced ASC multi-specialty setting
  • Ability to recognize, evaluate, solve problems, and correct errors.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, staff, physicians, vendors, and the public.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, openness, receptivity to change, creativity, and innovation.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to change quickly, strong knowledge base relative to surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
  • Understands the principles of the aseptic technique and their implementation
  • Ability to care for patients from infancy to geriatrics.
  • 2-5 yrs Experience working in a fast-paced ASC or hospital pre-op/ PACU setting.
  • Must be team-oriented and patient-focused. USPI complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date. If you receive an exemption from the vaccination requirement, you will be required to submit to regular testing in accordance with the law.
