Position Description
Pride Health is seeking an immediate opportunity for an experienced full-time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our dedicated team of Neonatologists and Neonatal Nurses practitioners. Our team provides Level III Neonatology services at both Piedmont Medical Center in Ft. Mill, SC and Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC. - Our clinicians enjoy a competitive compensation package with many locations offering sign on bonuses, relocation and tuition reimbursement (to be discussed at interview). Provider may submit salary expectations with presentation.
The Client is very motivated to find the right NNP and very open to discussing the NNP preferred schedule and pay! We of course WILL share your pay expectations with our client!
About the Role
Job Description:
- Provider must be willing to work at both locations: Piedmont Medical Center in Ft. Mill, SC and Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC.
- Piedmont Medical Center-Fort Mill:
- - Provider will be on Newborn Nursery (NBN) coverage only, attending deliveries
- - New program starting at a brand new facility in Fort Mill, SC.
- - Schedule is 24 hour rounding plus call from home (avg 8 hours rounding)
- - 350+ deliveries estimated the first year
- Piedmont Medical Center-Rock Hill:
- - Piedmont Medical Center, a steady-paced, 12-bed, Level-IIIa NICU with 1700 annual deliveries, offering a combination of professional and personal satisfaction
- - Responsibilities include attending high risk deliveries and daily rounding in the NICU and well-baby nursery
- - NNPs schedule is 24 hour, in-house shifts
- Have the option of living in the growing suburbs of Fort Mill, SC. Named one of the best places to live in SC, located just a few miles south of Rock Hill and is situated in the northern portion of South Carolina, bordering North Carolina, and placed right next to the city of Charlotte. Because of its close proximity to Charlotte, Fort Mill is considered a suburb of the Charlotte.
- Rock Hill is located in the north-central area of South Carolina, approximately 20 miles from Charlotte, North Carolina and less than 10 miles from Fort Mill, SC. It is a spectacular community that combines hometown charm with big-city amenities. The city has an outstanding public school system and is also a lively college town that boasts three colleges. With superb parks, quaint downtown area, abundant shopping, a wide array of dining options and delightful offerings of arts and cultural venues, it’s no wonder Rock Hill is the perfect place to live with none of the typical big-city drawbacks.
- Candidates must be NNP Board Certified (cannot accept FNP, PNP, or any other NP certifications)
- Not accepting new graduate candidates - Current 2+ years of employment experience as NNP (not including RN experience) is required.
- Not accepting Locums candidates
Submission Requirement:
- Master's Degree and/or Doctorate in Nursing - REQUIRED
- Current APRN National Specialty Certification - Board Certified NNP (cannot accept FNP, PNP, or any other NP certifications)- REQUIRED
- SC license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
- Current 2+ years of employment experience as NNP (not including RN experience) - REQUIRED
- Provider must be willing to work at both Fort Mill, SC and Rock Hill, SC locations (note in "Additional Submission Details" field) - REQUIRED (NO EXCEPTIONS)
